Antenna or Directv box for outdoor TV

Putting up and outdoor TV
I will have an Apple TV (Netflix and SEC+) but for locals should I go with a Antenna or a wireless Directv box?

If you have the direct tv genie remote you can install a hdmi splitter at your dvr box inside. Run a hdmi cable to the outside tv and you can control your direct tv box from outside. This is how mine is setup

So you have DirecTV? If so, just get the wireless box. Or use one from another TV and connect it when you use the outdoor TV and want locals.

This is basically what I did except used the second output on my AV receiver
