I have that 04 chevy silvarado and I also have a 06 GMC Envoy Denali. The speakers in the Denali are 10x better than the speakers in the chevy. Would it be possible (and simple) to switch the speakers out? I'm going to sell my Envoy and I would rather the nice speakers be in my Silverado.

TIA.

Going to depend on the speaker sizes, and I think the Denali has a separate amp for the speakers vs just the head unit. The Bose system in my 03 Z71 had speakers were somethin like 2 ohm if I remember correctly.

You might be better off finding a wrecked Silverado with the Bose system and transferring all that over.

Taking the Bose stuff out of one vehicle and putting it in another one without Bose is a whole animal you don't want to fight. Better off just getting aftermarket speakers for the truck

Will likley be a giant pain in the arse.

The speakers in your Silverado should be 6 1/2s, the front set is likely a component set (separate mid range in the door, with a tweeter in the a-pillar).

I’d just buy a decent set of 6 1/2s for the fronts and try that first.
