i took his post to mean watch, not phone. I think he may have just used the wrong word.

I'm not sure how android wear 2.0 would cause his phone issues.

I'm just asking for clarification, did you say that Android wear 2.0 made your phone crash?

no, the watch crashes. i'll look down and see 'google music' or 'messenger' has stopped working and just a white screen.

it happens at least once a day

Ok, that's what I thought, but wanted to make sure I was reading it right. I can't recall ever having my Moto 360 sport do that. I use it to respond to texts, and play music all the time when I run.

My apple watch can tell me the weather, give me driving directions, remind me of work meetings and my side hustle appointments, sends me notices about side hustle work available so I can respond, answer the phone when my hands are full (I can literally answer the phone using only my watch and my nose when the groceries are in my hand).

It. Just. Works.

...and its the original gen, too...

CAD...Resistance to Amazon/Apple....is....FUTILE!

I honestly think it's all a crapshoot. My wife's Apple watch is terrible. It is only a few months old and it will just die randomly even when it shows like 20% battery.

Android wear can do everything you described. Some people just have problems with it. Everything Cad seems to have with an Android os doesn't seem to work for him, so if I was in his shoes I would switch back to Apple. For me, when I had an iPhone it was a huge pos and that's why I switched to Android.

All that to say, it's like vehicles, there are always lemons out there in every brand, just use something you like and hope it doesn't break.

CAD’s never been iOS. Ever. It’s all his better half/kiddos. But the Borg are soon to assimilate him...
