Never swapped it out before so it didn't bother me before I got the s6. I had the lowest capacity s4 and never ran out of room.

Also not mentioned is QI wireless charging. I am spoiled by it. Have a bedside charger and customized my center console pocket of my truck with a hidden wireless dock.

Yeah, the phone either has to have stock wireless charging or removable battery to allow for install of the charging thingamajigger

Further, with the onset of Google Fi, I would prefer my music on the device since most of my data lately has been from play music, soundcloud, pandora, or amazon prime; however, I think a 64 GB device should be sufficient for that for me.

Very important for me due to pictures.

I don't take pictures with an actual camera anymore so my life is on my phone.

Yeah I know cloud, but who wants their hang down or wife pics on the cloud?

Hopefully you back up regularly, because SD cards are probably the least reliable storage medium there is.

And do you know how many billions of photos get sent to the cloud every day? And you're worried about someone seeing your hang down? That would be like finding a needledick in a haystack.

And your cloud pics are private to you unless you make them public.

But seriously, if pictures are that important to you (they are your life?), you NEED to put them in the cloud. SD cards can die at ANY time, for no reason whatsoever, and you could lose thousands of photos in an instant. Or your phone could get lost/destroyed and you will lose them anyway. All my photos get sent to both google and amazon as soon as I connect to wifi. Not only is it nearly impossible for either of those clouds to ever lose my data (they both store data redundantly in multiple locations), but if the impossible does happen I have a backup to that backup.

If your life is on your phone as you say, you are living on the edge with SD cards.

LOL of all the reasons to want an SD card pics is at the very bottom of the pile.

i cant believe there's anyone (particularly with an android) that doesnt let their pics be seamlessly uploaded.

do you have that many amateur porn pics you can't manually manage where they're stored???

None. Have 64GB & don't need half of it. Cloud availability has made internal storage pretty much an unnecessary accessory for me.

My phone is a business tool, not an entertainment hub. Yes, removable storage is highly important.
