Usually my phone is in my pocket and I just mash the volume up button.
Especially when it's cold with gloves on, pita. /Rant
ETA. When I have to pull it out the volume goes full blast for the effort.

Sure does I had a s6 edge that did it. I have a s9 now and it doesn't do it anymore. They must have gotten rid of it. Not sure which model they started though

Well different Android phones do it differently. Are you in a phone running Pie? I like Pie's implementation
