Adding A Wireless Security Camera To A Wired Network

Toying with buying an 8 camera POE system. Wires have been laying in wait for this. Thinking I might want to put a solar-powered wireless camera on the bottom of the mailbox by the street. (Subdivision street, about 40 feet from mailbox to router.) Anyone know of a wired system that allow the addition of a wireless camera? Thanks.

I'm running Blue Iris on a dedicated PC and can have wireless (has to be an ONVIF camera I believe) and wired cameras on that.

Reolink has a couple options with the battery powered models that have solar panel option. You can record to cloud or sd card for them, but only their wifi cameras can record to their poe nvr.
Whats the real benefit of having a camera at the mailbox vs higher quality camera on area of house that could cover the field of view of mailbox?
