Not that it's Android's fault, but Apple's uniformity looks professional, and it helps that almost every professional who isn't in IT has an iPhone.

Girls and teens = Android.
This is so wrong.

I think if Apple just opened up iMessage to android/the world and charged a 2.99 fee per month, EVERYONE would swap to imessage.

Or...now hear me out...they could make it a FREE app available across all platforms.

Like Gmail. Like Google Maps. Etc.

Then you wouldn't have ignorant comments about android and grainy video.

But they wont do that, because they have an install base that just sees grainy video and thinks "android sucks."

iMessage is little different than hangouts, facebook messenger, groupme, etc. The only difference is it is proprietary, and that's on purpose.

It's shite like this, and the user base that doesn't know the difference, that keep me on the Android side. I've had an iPhone and an iPad, but I prefer to have more choice.

I don’t disagree but Google also has a bad history of starting apps and then bailing on them. Maybe they have something with RCS but they’re a bit late. The cell providers haven’t helped either.

Maybe a tad late but not really overly so. The carriers are the ones that have drug this out for years.
