55 inch tv recommendations

My 50 inch had 3 distinct lines across the screen. Looking to go a little bigger. I don’t want to break the bank and deals or best place to look would be appreciated

I was just looking at this 55 inch on Amazon with built in FireTV for my office.

No one ever regrets getting a bigger tv than they were planning, and some can be had for fairly cheap.

If you think you want a 55", get at least a 58" or 65" and you will NOT regret it.

I have a 50 inch Panasonic plasma tv that it 12 years and it looks just like the day I bought it. I won a 50 inch vizio led and it’s crapping out in 1.5 years.
I will look into the tcl 6. I’m assuming hisense and sceptre are shite brands.

Best buy has the TCL 55R615 for $399 now. Picked one up last week. Same as the more expensive 55R617 except a different remote.

i have come to rely on using the voice and RF version of the remote so i wouldn't want to go back to IR.
the IR is easily blocked in my experience; i can tell because it takes about 5-10 seconds before the RF is activated and its impossible to control it until that is on.
so i would personally opt for the better remote if we're talking same price.

Depends on your budget.
For Black Friday, look at the ads you can literally get them for a steal and get something way bigger than what you would normally pay for a 55 incher.
