2-in-1 Laptop Advice

Looking at getting a new computer for home/personal use. Would like to get a 2-in-1 like a Microsoft Surface or something similar. Any recommendations? Don't need the nicest of the nice. Just something mid-level will get the job done.

I dislike the keyboards on the deatchable surface models.
My son got a Surface Studio for school...It's very nice and a regular keyboard.
Even though I use a Mac most of time - I'm thinking about picking one of these up for myself.

I’m looking at getting one too. I was considering just getting an iPad, but now I’m leaning towards a Chromebook. Looking at the HP 2 or the Lenovo Duet 5. Thoughts

If you don’t need a “new” computer, the Dell outlet has off-lease Latitude 7390s on sale all the time. A nicely specced model can be had for less than $300, and they’re usually in terrific shape. They’re also upgradable to Windows 11.

I've had 2 2-in-1s where the keyboard folded over rather than detached, a Lenovo Yoga and an HP Envy. While I would use it like a tablet occasionally, mostly if I was trying to show someone a video, I used it in laptop mode 95% of the time because with the keyboard on the back it's pretty bulky and heavy for a tablet.
Do you have a true, regular need for tablet mode? If so I'd look at a detachable keyboard option like the Surface. If it's more of an occasional need, my only complaint about the Yoga or Envy was the lack of a full keyboard with the number keys on the side and would recommend either.
