2 Disk RAID 1 NAS Mirroring a Third Drive

I bought 3 8TB drives and a diskless wd mycloud NAS. I have one drive in my HTPC, and the other two setup in RAID 1 in the mycloud. I want to use the drive in the HTPC as my main storage, and have the mycloud mirror that, maybe by syncing the contents of the main drive once a week? Is there a way to achieve this within Win10 or do I need software? Anyone have any recommendations on that? I'm new to NAS.

See if the NAS has builtin app for backup, install the client on HTPC, use NAS as backup destination

GoodSync and Internal Backups are two apps that are installable on the WDPR4100 NAS that you could try.
Also, I still use an old Microsoft application called SyncToy that works great. Check out this article on installing it on newer versions of Windows: SyncToy

Can't remember the name of the open source program I use but it backs up our server to a NAS every night. Heck, Windows backup and restore would work if it doesn't have to be mirrored and just used to restore files.

Why? You have a spare disk. If one in the WD fails, just plug in your spare and rebuild. Just pay attention to, and configure properly, NAS notifications.
Be warned, since I’m assuming you bought them together, once one fails, the other two are weeks/months behind. If a drive fails, replace it without delay. Spinning disks that came off the line at about the same time tend to fail close to each other. It’s not panic mode, but don’t put off a replacement from now until thanksgiving.

GoodSync did the job. I just had to configure it on both ends first. I think the WD version is just a longer trial than normal. Thanks dudes!
