I mean yeah the whole thing is a little bit pathetic. Only thing I can really say is that Newcastle have been starved for competent management for so long that people are losing their minds a little bit. I'm not holding my breath he's going to stay but if he did it there would be a sense of optimism for the future for the first time in awhile despite the relegation.
