That Swansea frick that picked up a red card late in the game kept him from making his debut.

ETA: I had to find a sketchy stream for the match today, aren’t Swansea games usually on ESPN+? I thought ESPN had championship rights as well.

There are a smattering of Championship games on ESPN+. Not every game and not every day. I don't think that the Swansea game today was telecast on E+.

Daryl Dike called it a "blessing" to work with @JozyAltidore. "He can critique me, and it's good to have someone like that who has been through it all... They're trying their hardest to make sure you're successful."

Cristian Roldan on Jozy Altidore: "I've gotten to know Jozy quite a bit more. We've talked about our MLS Cup match ups. It's been great to take all the information he gives and take it to heart. He's a really great mentor, especially to the No. 9s. He's been here before.

Cont. about Jozy Altidore from Cristian Roldan:

"He's really excited about the future, just like everyone else."

19 year old CB Daniel Osuji has signed with Spanish Segunda Division club Alcorcon.

A product of the Baltimore Armour Academy, Osuji played 1 season at Loyola University in Maryland. In 2019, he won Patriot League Rookie of the Year while making the all-Patriot League 3rd Team. LINK

80% of the current USMNT squad has played in USL, and they have combined for almost 20,000 USL-Championship minutes.

I will have to be honest. I don't follow the USL at all. What would be the English quality equivalent league for both USL and MLS in your opinion?

I'd say most of MLS is Championship level with some of the worst teams being League One level. I don't know where to put USL because I haven't watched enough League Two to compare it. USL has 2 professional tiers (USL Championship and USL League One) and one amateur tier (USL League Two). USL-C is easily better than USL-L1, but it's still a noticeable level or two below MLS. USL-C&L1 are still great places for teenagers to be in a professional setting and play with and against adults on a daily basis. Most of the independent USL teams are better than most of the USL teams owned by MLS teams.

I'd definitely recommend checking out USL. It can still be pretty fun as long as you aren't expecting it to be MLS level. There's a lot of players in USL that chose to be in USL to get more playing time than to maybe not make the gameday squad for MLS.

I've had a blast watching Birmingham Legion and I was kind of shocked that they managed to hold onto a guy like Bruno Lapa for another season instead of an MLS team taking a flyer on him. Several MLS teams could use a #10 like him on the bench.

It's fun to track individuals in the USL because a lot of MLS clubs/academies are stashing their talented 15-16 year olds prospects there, but the quality of play can give you an aneurysm if you're not careful.
