Apparently something happened at his last call up where he got benched. I don’t think the USSF wants to go into details about what happened, but I believe there were some disciplinary issues that led to the benching and thus his choosing Mexico over us. Idk if it’s because of how the coaches handled it or he is just a prick. Details about what happened are scarce. I hope we can win him back, because he may be one of the best talents to ever come out of our country, however if he is a head case then he may never reach his true potential anyway, and at this point I am of the opinion that I want somebody whose heart is really in it for the United States (not another Timothy Chandler situation, for example).

Yeah I was unaware of the benching at the last camp. Would suck to lose him, but I hear your concerns regarding attitude. However he’s so young I’d be willing to forgive a lot. I hope it’s not a case of those in charge fricking it up

Went off with an injury. At first it didn’t look serious but then he didn’t want to put weight on his ankle or lower leg.

Father was born in Italy. His mother is black. He was born in NC in 2002 and has been with SKC simce 2016. Is eligible to play for Italy. I think he usually plays as an attacking mid.

So if he was to keep developing would he probably pick Italy? Saw where he is eligible for us and them.

Highly doubtful. He's lived here his entire life, has been in multiple YNTs for us, and has even been captain a few times.

Goddamnit, Tyler Adams is out for tomorrow’s game...again. Is Leipzig just going to rest him for the remainder of the season? It sucks because I was having a lot of fun watching him play until he got hurt.

They were hinting he’d be back with the team two weeks ago. That’s why I asked if they were just shutting him down.
