Weah tweeted that he was being loaned to Celtic. Might be a good spot

Kind of disappointing, but I guess it's better than rotting at PSG.

And John Brooks's record transfer fee lasts all of 18 months... Pulisic now owns the record for highest transfer fee by an American by a wide margin.

If Greg was the choice then... Why not announce it much sooner. I wish and hope for the best but the process was a charade. Its like USSoccer didn't think any real names like Tata would be interested. Hence the whole you have to speak English and live in Chicago.

When? Earnie didn't start until August. Even if Gregg was his 1st choice as of September 1, there's no harm in letting him finish the season with Columbus. Sarachan was already on contract until the end of the year.

That's not a bad rule, and you only eliminate very few candidates that would even be interested (Tata speaks English, btw).

Dietz is a midfielder and has apparently made at least one appearance with Freiburg's U19s. Usually plays with the U17s. Was previously with Frankfurt. Born in '02.

USSF may have found out about Soares when Gladbach came to the US recently. Looks to be a CM. Has played in 15 U17 games this season (started at least 13 of them), 2 assists. Possible military kid? Born in '02.

van Hees seems to be a LB. Joined Vitesse at 13 as a midfielder. Recently joined N.E.C. Nijmegen where he seems to play LB with the U17s. Born in '02.

van Hees sounds like he may not be just going by his last name. The other two are possible. Can't find any confirmation on any of them.

Future USMNT
@FutureUsmnt

In his first game of 2019, Charlie Kelman grabbed 4 goals in Southend U18s 6-1 win over Gillingham. Kelman grabbed a hat-trick in 30 minutes, and then added a fourth late in the second half. Not a bad way to start off the new year.
