35 + loanees lol. That can't be normal for most big clubs is it?

Not really. Chelsea has a habit of buying a bunch of young talent, loan it out for 2+ years, and then sell for a small profit.

There are cases where the player does end up getting 1st team minutes, but those are the exceptions.

Its more than a habit, its the clubs strategy to increase revenue streams and comply with ffp. Its also a good system to foster quid pro quos with agents.

With the new stadium coming down the line to bring ticket sales closer in line with united and arsenal, some of the reliance on the loan army system will prob lessen.

Ethan Horvath starts again for Club Brugge. He's now started 3 consecutive league games. Saved a penalty to salvage a point in previous game.

He's on a great trajectory. Still only 21. The battle between he and Steffen will be interesting, they'll both eventually be in one of the big 5 leagues

It'd be great if he could be ready to take over for us in 2019.

Should be by default. Guzan and Howard will be out of the picture.

I mean, Guzan will be 34 years old by then and will enter that cycle as the first choice... Horvath is still pretty raw.

My statement implied that it would be great for him to become polished by then. I realize that it would be unlikely.

Anton, whose father is an American serviceman, has represented the US and, most recently, Germany at the U18 international level.

American-born (Washington, DC) forward Jordan Siebatcheu reportedly called up to the French U-21 national team. LINK

We've called him up for our U23 team, but the club didn't release him.

Kevin Egan? @kev_egan 60m60 minutes ago

As mentioned on #TheXTRA, sources tell us 17 year old US U-20 star Josh Sargent is Werder Bremen bound. No timeline on announcement. #USMNT
