Yes, I would sign up for an L tonight if the result was the sacking of Klinsmann. However, a L tonight will not produce such a result in reality. No, I would not sign up for failing to qualify if it meant a new manager. I always want the World Cup and would put up with another two years of Klinsmann rather than miss it for a new manager.

I never cheer against the US. Ever. But if a loss meant righting this ship and getting a manager who will call up our best players and play them in their natural positions while having just a smidge of tactical nous, then I would gladly cheer that loss after the fact.
