VS

The strong sentiment toward our second contestant might swing the voting some, but Ballack might just be that bad in the studio. They both seem to have an odd fascination with their shoes when the camera pans to them, and although it looks like they are each trying to communicate an idea when they speak I haven't been able to distinguish one yet.

I think Ballack is not as comfortable speaking in English, so I give him a pass. I do enjoy the tension when Lalas speaks over him and you can tell it pisses him off but he can't do anything about it because he isn't as comfortable articulating his points.

He seems like a fish out of water in the studio imo.

It's pretty amazing how much Rossi struggles to put together a sentence in English. He's completely worthless in the studio.

Ballack's command of English isn't as strong as most Germans, but I think he's gotten better each day as he gets more comfortable.

Ballack was a phenomenal player and has a ton of respect. He may sound like a moron sometimes but he's not...Rossi can DIAF

Honestly I respect Ballack and Lalas as analysts.

They give their honest opinions...neither tries to be PC or tries to say the popular thing.

I don't think the English language is what's holding him back.
