Jelavic recent interview:

"Steve Bruce called me and told me that he wants me in his team as a leading attacker,”
"He asked me if I'm ready to move, then talked briefly about the club, his coaching philosophy and about the club's goals.

"He was very confident during that conversation and after that I agreed to move to Hull City.

"The club suits me and I'm happy that the clubs have found an agreement for my transfer."

Roberto claimed he would have a replacement lined up before selling Jelavic... to be continued

Wait, if he needs someone to just sit on the bench and watch games, I've available on a free and would be much cheaper wages.

And I'd be close enough to see my Reds play.

Now NYCFC wants Xavi too supposedly. [link=(www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-city/10569709/Manchester-City-target-Barcelona-midfielder-Xavi-as-New-York-City-FCs-marquee-signing.html)]LINK[/link]

The UAE prime minister and Steinbrenners could be up against an Austrian energy drink company in hopes of buying a Catalan midfielder for their soccer teams in the New York City area.

I'd rather see him at NYRB, I think, since City will have a lot more options in the future I feel like.

would be pretty hilarious if spurs selling a player opened the door for us to sign an expensive, young talented German attacker AGAIN

I'm not sure buying him in January is the best situation but if he becomes available, we should close the deal.

Doesn't matter when. A player of his caliber is a take at any time. Now my hopes are raised, probably to be crushed.

Celtic have signed Stefan Johansen from Strömsgodset IF for a fee of around £1.9m.

Norwegian POTY and target of Milan.

ETA: Celtic's Paul George has been loaned to Hamilton for the rest of the season.

it would be really funny to me if both ManU and Chelsea bought back highly touted prospects in the same year after giving them away for nothing/hardly anything.

looks like Luuk De Jong to Newcastle may finally happen. Not sure what that would mean for Cisse though

Xavi official to NY Red Bulls.

Got to imagine he will still be voted in the team of the year.
