Agreed. The backline is a nightmare. Lees is the only defender I rate. With Howson out we have 0 creativity in midfield. And we also need a strong forward...

Anybody know anything about Maxi Lopez, striker playing for Catania? Spent a couple years at Barcelona. According to some reports Fulham have put in a 10 million pound bid for him.
I watch Serie A a bit but either haven't noticed him or have forgotten about him.

Marco Borriello joins Juventus on loan from Roma.
I think Borriello will help Juve.
Borriello's a very soild prima punta but couldn't get playing time for Enrique at Roma due to not being as versatile as Osvaldo, Bojan ect. However, the very day Roma sent him out it seems Osvaldo has suffered a muscle strain that may sideline him for 1-2 months which is par for the season for Roma.
Still about 50/50 in most people's estimation as to whether whether De Rossi takes City's offer to double his salary to move from Roma.
If De Rossi leaves, I expect Roma to announce the rumored move for Casamiro to compete with news reports of hundreds of tifosi arrested for sending stones and flares into De Rossi's home.
