Why does Klopp get a pass regarding how he handles domestic cups?

Dude hates them and doesn’t take them seriously at all and i don’t get why he gets a pass on this?
He will be sending out a team full of reserves with the reserves manager to handle the replay against Shrewsbury after drawing yesterday.
There is no CWC this time. Pool are not even in four competitions at the moment unlike some other EPL clubs, but are saying they need an extended rest?
I get it, match congestion this time of the year is a bitch, but I don’t see any other top EPL clubs throwing out a full U23 side with another manager taking control, thank god, but somehow Klopp can do this and not a peep about it??

It’s the international break. Apparently the PL sent a memo last April requesting teams don’t play any friendlies or any games during the break....guess the FA has other ideas
I don’t mind playing the kids at all, I do think it’s strange/a bad look for Klopp himself to not be there
As long as it’s early in the tournament and we’re playing lower level teams I don’t see any issue with playing youngsters. When else would they get to play? Now if we were to make the semis against a top 6 side, I’d fully expect a strong starting 11 with mostly first teamers
And I’m talking just FA cup here....nobody gives a shite about the league cup it’s stupid

I don't mind him sending the reserves out if he thinks they can beat Shrewsbury. Many EPL teams play their second to third strings against the lower level teams.
I think the disrespect to the Cup is him sending the reserve manager out there. That is where he is showing his lack of interest in the result.

FA Cup is still a big deal. I know Klopp did something similar previously this year in the league cup, but I think the first team were away for the CWC so I can understand the decision there.
This is a special season, I wanted Pep to push for everything in the Centurion season, so I just don’t get this move and the way Klopp is trying to act like it doesn’t matter.

This whole schedule situation is a mess
This is a special Liverpool team but there is a reason winning the treble has only been done once by an English club.
It isn’t easy and is flat out demanding

16 point lead in the league. Let us find something to bitch about since the league is dusted
. Bruh, you should just concentrate on how Baylor is bringing in a nice staff

So done and dusted that the team you’re talking about is still resting players in another competition

Y’all having the league wrapped up makes it much easier for everyone else to come to grips that it’s happening. We are all already prepared for it when that day comes
Lord it would have been a shite show if it came down to the last couple weekends and y’all won it on some dramatic fashion. Every non Liverpool fan would have to take a timeout from the internet or British sports media

They were up 2-0 on Shrewsbury right?
Probably weren’t expecting some beer leaguer to grab a brace

The awesome news in all of this is the money from the replay will pay for a new pitch draining system and video technology system to help them with analytics

This has been brewing. Klopp has felt like he’s been banging his head against a brick wall over fixture scheduling and now with the owners’ backing he’s decided to make a stand by playing “the kids”. #LFC

As the filthy fellas guys said, nobody will care when they actually win the league because they already won it in December.

I have zero problem with him playing the academy. I understand the argument that some guys that haven't played as much or coming back from injury could use some minutes, but I also understand trying to give guys a rest.
That said, I think him totally saying eff it and even trotting out the U23 manager is a bit much. But hey, like he said, he's trying to make a point so I can't really blame him for that.

It's definitely not as good. Was much better when they had Haks and Ross and a few other people from the earlier episodes.

We have CL also. This is after the Club WC and the frantic holiday schedule. Sorry FA Cup, take a backseat. You know how it is to travel across the globe for the Club WC........oh wait

City have played one less competitive match this season than Liverpool

Garry Monk famously threw our fa cup tie at Sutton Utd in 2017 to show the board how thin our squad was.
They turned around and sold Alex Mowatt the following week lmao

And less travel. C’mon bruh, go enjoy Aranda and have a Schlitz; you don’t want to waste your precious time roasting Sir Jurgen Klopp.
