Your other points were spot on, IMO. This one, though, I'm not so sure. I guess it's more confusion more than disagreement on my end. Are you saying athletes in the US don't have foot skills and/or body coordination? Obviously, soccer players will have superior foot dexterity in terms of using his feet to strike a ball. But it's not like athletes in other sports from America are lacking in that department. We (almost) literally breed athletes here. The best athletes in the world, by far. It's just that the most popular sports here require a different type of foot dexterity and body coordination.

I think he's calling Americans/American athletes stupid.

I´m saying they´re not indoctrinated with the game at a young age on a general level. There are no sports in the US where you use your feet with such need and intensity.

Of course it´s not a US thing genetically speaking, how could it be?

ETA I specified in the USA, because soccer hate is not confined to this country.

K. Guess you were just being pompous then. That seems to come across quite often from my reading of your posts in the past.

I don't understand the need/want to dislike one sport in order to like another one. I'm so glad I got hooked in to soccer several years back, but I still love all the American sports I grew up playing and watching.

We do sports quite well in this country. Probably better than anyone ever has, actually.

Yeah, you´ll get that impression from me. I used to be nice, back in 2010.

I´m TD hardened. I just throw truth out there, without gilding it.
