I get the Ugandan hooker part, he is just as dirty, amirite? Can't trust the gingers? Gingers being dirtier yet still? Please help me out of my funk.

Everyone knows Gingers —people with red hair, freckles, and pale skin—are disgusting, inhuman, and inherently dumb, have no souls, are very short, and are unable to survive in sunlight.

This about sums up Paul Scholes, IMO.

Thanks for the clear-up. I also have heard that term used for diving, whining, and moaning type players who fear physical contact.

The correct term you're looking for is Spanish.

I hate Barca as much as the next mrsmiller, but hard to call them overrated considering the success of Barca and Barca lite (Spanish national team)over the past few years.

It's not that they are overrated when it comes to skill/winning because they have won everything in the last two years at both the club and international level, it's that their style gets absurd praise when in reality it is football at its most boring. Sure it's great when they play Xerez or Poland and win 4-0, 5-0, 6-0 but when they come up against an evenly matched team they just hold the ball in the back and in non-threatening positions in the midfield for the majority of the game with very little effort made at going forward and few chances taken and fewer converted. Far worse than that they resort to the diving, whining, crying tactics early and often to levels that completely disgrace the game.

Yea but when people talk about spain and barca as if they are everything in soccer now even though the dutch should/could have won the world cup if robben would have put either of the one on one chances in.
Barca shouldn't have won a champions league last year either.

Jose is going to beat barca maybe not this year but def. the next

Coulda, shoulda, woulda. His one foot arse would not have seen the ball if Webb were to have done his frickingering job properly.

As much as I hate to say it, Dandy is right. Dutch probably shouldn't have been in a position to win so playing the "What if?" game doesn't work. Spain has been the best team in the world for the past 2 years, including their losses to two mediocre teams like the Swiss and the US.

And I agree, Spanish football is nowhere near the worst to watch. Not even close.
