I was reading about Schalke's youth academy and all the really good young players they have coming up (their entire midfield against Real Madrid was under 20). Just curious what other clubs out there have a good crop on their way up?

like actual U-21 academy team?

The best 3 in England are United, Chelsea and Liverpool right now.

Its hard to judge in countries like Spain and Germany bc their U-17's to U-23's all play for the B or II teams in the 3rd and 4th divisions against grown arse men.

I know we (LFC) are high on quite a few of our youngsters (Wigan currently has two of our promising attacking talents on loan.. Ojo & Sinclair)... Those two are on the cusp, I think.. we also have a couple from Spain that many believe are future first team starters (specifically, Chiravella CDM)..

I dont follow the other clubs U21s that closely, but I know United always has a good crop... I'd be interested to see if the highly rated Chelsea youngsters get a legitimate chance with the first team there..

Two guys to watch with City's youth squad are Seko Fofana and Thierry Ambrose.

Pozo has played with the senior side a couple of times already now, Ambrose was on the bench when all the strikers were hurt, but didn't make an appearance

Needed a first team forward, a first team midfielder, and your back up goalie to draw with Spurs U-21. Sorry m8 quit tooting United's young players.

Ok?

Harry Kane: 19 PL goals.

How many does the old man have?

We beat you 3-0, not just beat fricking took behind the woodshed.

United's U-21's year in and year out are top tier to argue otherwise is ignorant.

United find form against a Spurs defense that is almost the worst in the EPL and you take pride in that? lol ok.

Sorry m8, United's U-21 team isn't that great.
