The last thing we need is for the colleges to embrace men's soccer at a high level. Nowhere near enough games and major limits on practice time.

Not so sure about that.
The state of US soccer is not good.
College sports develop lots of future pros in lots of different sports.
I think it would be cool to see it and see certain schools invest in quality coaches and training and get the competitive nature that most SEC Sports have.
