Agreed. The outcome was a big blow, but outside of the early goal and the last second goal I thought we looked really solid. Dominated them most of the game.

Umm yes.... we took it to Portugal for most of this game and out played them overall.
We gave them the 1st goal. And on the 2nd goal our guys were pretty much ball watching, which was a mistake by them. And Ronaldo delivered a beautiful pass and it bit us in the arse. Thats the type of player he is though. Our guys got caught napping and it cost us.
But overall, we were the better team today and outplayed Portugal. We looked really good today.

So you agree we outplayed them and looked really good today.... but dont agree with saying we were the better team today?
Outplaying a team means you were the better team.... Dont get why that has you so confused.
