posting that shite over and over just makes you look like an idiot who has no rebuttal FWIW

The posting of that gif over and over is more intelligent than anything you've posted in this thread. RvP was exactly what Man U needed. If you think they are the Miami Heat of the EPL, then you are clueless. Seriously.

it's not an apples to apples comparison, but the points are:

#1 if you manage to out douche Piers Morgan you're going to get criticized

#2 You're not just taunting him, you're taunting all Arsenal fans, none of whom wanted you to leave. Pretty big dick move.

#3 You couldn't so much as win the Carling Cup in your last 7 years at a place like Arsenal, that reflects poorly on you as the team's best player just as much as it does on the organization. Joining up with the bullies on the block to "win" your first title while you're still in your prime is pretty hollow IMO.

not that this will do any good, but here it goes:

-Piers Morgan hacked and wiretapped people in addition to being an outstanding a-hole generally. On no planet does RvP "out douche" Piers.

-Nah, he was pretty much just taunting Piers, whose obsession with RvP bordered on harassment.

-Arsenal's lack of trophies reflect nothing on RvP other than the fact that maybe if he had better health earlier in his career, we could've won another trophy or two. There is nothing "hollow" about his title. It's pointless to argue on this point though considering it seems you live in some sports-talk fairytale where "true champions" have to check all the boxes on some imaginary list in order to get recognition.

So RvP had less talent around him at Arsenal than LeBron in Cleveland?

Leaving Arsenal just shows that he couldn't get the job done as the main guy there

not due to any fault of RvP

Arsenal is cheap and/or not a destination club anymore (due to being cheap) and they lost some of their crucial bits (Fabregas, Song, and Nasri most recently)

Man U is certainly not the "Heat" of the EPL. hell, a short time ago they SOLD the best player in the world for a still-record fee. hell, they also sold tevez for a shite ton of money.

RvP was in the last year of his contract, i believe, and wasn't going to re-sign with Arsenal. they sold him to get something instead of letting him go on a free. there are only a couple of EPL teams who could have paid his salary

and looks like rooney is out the door too

City could be called the heat, not much of a winning tradition but now up and coming with motivation to get who they need to win. A city like Manchester has no reason not to have two big clubs. Big city, some of the best night life in england. Sorry Wigan wasn't cutting it

absolutely

however, as a defense to the heat, the "big 3" all took paycuts to play together, which is awesome. you know how most people say "it's all about the money", well...it wasn't for these 3 guys

He didn't know that Piers would post it on Twitter. It's not that big of a deal. It's a funny bit of banter between two celebrities. Piers is a massive count.

He wasn't our best player for the last 7 years. If anything, it was his horrible injury record that was one of the primary reasons we couldn't win anything. That 2009-10 team would have won something had Van Persie stayed healthy. It was a borderline awesome team, but we played most of the season without Van Persie, and had to put Arshavin up front, which effectively ended his career, as afterwards, he was half the player he once was.

You better cut all of your ties with PSG, then. I know you're not as big of a fan now (better jump ship now that they've got elite players and their first title in a while), but if United grind your gears...you better curse the Parisian super club.

I have been slowly distancing myself from them for the last year or so. Mostly since they brought in Z, Thiago Silva and Lavezzi.

Although I do admit to having a moment of weakness early this past season.
