- Our attention span has been terrible on the back line. Just absolutely turning off our brains at times looking for the easy pass and forgetting Peru are pressing us. Our CBs are not at all looking past the player right next to them for passing. No line-breaking play.
And FFS, carry to space.
- Miller got better late in the half, but he is just not in the right frame to be physical when called for at the LB spot.
- Campbell has tons of potential. Looks like he went to the Matt Turner Anxious Passing Camp.
- Ellis is looking great at holdup play today. Very false-nine feel but links up extremely well. Also super calm demeanor in general. Love a “thinking man” on the ball up front.
- Musah still has amazing body use. Strong on the ball, great footwork. He needs to get better at passing… He does well with space in front but not otherwise.
- Gio is un-frick-with-able. When he gets crossed, it’s a dangerous game for the other squad. He goes god-mode when he is pissed. I wish he would start off games like that.
- Cavan has it. Peru have shaded toward him the entire match so far, but he has still made good contributions. His passing is pretty good, links up well, makes runs. It is just really crowded on his side tactically.

The floor with those guys is so much higher than what the floor was when Pulisic and that group all came through, in my opinion.
Good technical ability, but they make better decisions it seems like.
