Dot34, you hit the nail I have been driving tonight right on the head. Chemistry is a desperate need for the squad. That should be a primary consideration as we move forward, no matter who is hired to manage.

I second the request for Bradley’s mid-game yog.

Isn't that part of being a captain?
That's ridiculous. How was Bradley supposed to stop Omar from scoring an own goal, Bruce from starting the same 11 from a few days prior and on a waterlogged pitch, etc.?

Can someone make a gif a Bradley getting out ran by the CR on that goal.
With Delgado breaking back, Bradley started to make a run to close on the guy that made the pass. Wrong decision? Maybe, but the idea that he just jogged back not doing anything is inaccurate.

I remember one moment from Bradley during the run up to the World Cup let down: Mexico goal.

Otherwise he was garbage the entire qualifying round. He was full of bad passes, lack of positional awareness, and lazy spurts just like he had tonight.

I’ll always be a fan of Mike, but he just does not belong anymore.

That’s not inaccurate. He jogged back until he realized he was beat by a run in from behind him, which is something you have to anticipate as a defensive mid. The better teams in the world will not just sit and watch their guys in a 2 v 2 situation. They will add numbers by busting their arse, which is why Bradley failed on that play.

He jogged. Did not anticipate. His team paid the price. Pretty simple really.

Not my EXACT sentiment, but the general idea matches well.

Close. Tampa Bay.

Terrible showing yet again by USA supporters, and bad choice for venue yet again.

Who else could play goalie that won’t be a Senior Citizen by the next World Cup (so not Guzan)?

Guzan will be 38. The same age Tim Howard was last year.

But Scott, Horvath, Hamid, Klinsmann, Dos Santos, Gonzalez, etc.

He personally declined 6 months too early, but it's possible for a keeper to still be good to go at 38.

Agreed.

I don't think that Steffen was exposed tonight though really. He was hung out to dry more than anything, and still had a decent showing. Even with his bad positioning on the goal across his face he still got a touch on it

Yeah. Steffen and Guzan are still a good bit ahead of everyone else at this point.

Giving up 4 goals is a lot.

How many were on goalie, defense?

Could having stronger midfield (Pulisic, McKennie, Adams) have helped in minimizing those or more in improving attack?

I'd say none were 100% on Steffen.

Of course, but you can say that about every game.
