Oh well. Getting beatdown will make winning these next matches sweeter.

Dempsey is so much better than any of our attackers (outside of Landon) its absurd.

Just a different level.

I will forever question Bobbo's intelligence after this.

This is upsetting. Even Torres got one. Wish they'd have had the A squad in. Also, Bradley, as happy as I am that he's got us in the door, I don't feel like he's got it to elevate them more. Could be wrong though.

I'm not even mad anymore. I just want to see us beat the fricking shite out of Canada, Panama, and Guadeloupe, then whoever we get in the 1/4s, semis, and another edition of "Dos-A-Cero" will make me forget all about this.

me too but i'm certain Bobbo's got a plan for world domination, it just starts with showing Spain our soft underbelly and giving them a fillet knife...

I agree. I just really wish they'd have had a good go at Spain. It'd have gave them a good morale as a young squad, but then again, Spain is a phenomenal team. I just can't stand Fernando Torres, I think that's the icing for me.

Yeah. He sucks.

I don't know what you people were expecting. Spain's B squad is more talented than our A squad, and their A- squad is better than ours. The only way we can compete with Spain, Brazil and the likes is to sit in a defensive shell, work hard, play gritty, and counter. That was never going to happen today. If you thought it was, you either just didn't think really hard about it or have ridiculously high expectations.

No injuries = positive result.

Plus, we learned that Gooch is pretty much worthless and that Lichaj can put in a strong shift at LB. I'd like to see a Dolo - Boca - Goodson - Lichaj backline. We'll see what we get.
