The biggest difference in the two sides is the time on the ball. We're pressing hard early, but Brazil's skill is so superior that they take one or two touches and find an open man, where as we get the ball at our feet and boot it forward.

Did Spector hold them on?

Feilhaber has skill but he rarely uses it. It's like he can play well, but he decides to just not.

At this level there really is no excuse for this. USA national team should be able to control and get the ball out from underneath them easily at this stage.

What obviously stands out is the sheer difference in creativity. Along with simple technical failures by the USA, which are inexcusable.
