Davies is still trying to show his club that he's ready to play, and Ligue 1 has already started. I think his health is still poor.

Pretty awful touch from Bornstein there but at this point if he just defends ok I'm fine with him.

For the most part this is the US's senior squad. Minus Dempsey and Jozy otherwise this is their starting lineup.

I'm not counting the young center back, because eventually prior to the WC14 USA will need to slot a new face in there anyway.

This match could be very telling for the US. If Brasil's youngsters put it to us, then we might as well completely revamp our tactics and the roster as well.

How are we really going to revamp our roster? For the most part these are our best guys (excluding Demps, Jozy starting, maybe Gooch). This Brazil team, young or not, is talented as hell. A neutral observer would say they're going to win this.

Spector still puts in a nice ball. Its his defending that's worrisome.

Bad touch by Buddle. Good play getting it back though.

Omar Gonzalez, Bedoya, Edu, Jozy, Feilhaber are all 24 or younger.I believe.

There have been plenty of threads on our young talent, we have very promising players to develop in the next 4 years. You have to remember a ton of our current starters will be old and over the hill. It's a must, as for the how I also don't know.

There are more knowledgeable posters on here though who are well informed as to our young players.

Spector has done well with Neymar so far. He and Gonzales on the same side is slow. That may be where most of Brazil's threats come from.

Are these guys cut out for first team duties come a WC though? I mean there is plenty of time for them to grow, I just don't know anything about them.
