Who are you commenting went full retard?

There was nothing that our guys up front really could have done. We did not control this game.

It did not help that Navas was brilliant between the pipes.

frick tonight. At least Mexico lost and they are now in deep shite.

SBI possible lineup for Mexico:

--------------------E. Johnson------------

F. Johnson--------Dempsey--------Donovan

--------------Beckerman-----Jones-------------

Beasley------Brooks------Gonzalez----Parkhurst

------------------------Howard---------------------------

If that ends up being the line-up, I will cry.

The second half showed that he can play well in an extremely limited role. Not an ideal option but not the absolute worst option.

Jones needs a foil to his batshit insanity.

Sorry azz ref made sure jozy is out wirh extra time foul , most refs in a 3-1 game would have looked the other way.

He deserved it for being stupid enough to run into a Costa Rican player with one minute left in the match while on a yellow card and directly in front of a ref.

Saw 2 C.R. players not carded for worse fouls , Mexican ref cards a player in extra time = a joke.

He should have nevet been asigned this game , IMO.

Ref actually called a good match, and was benevolent at times, to the US´s favor.

Or a second, or third. Hell Jones will be dribbling and for some reason knock the ball 8 yards in front of himself then be forced to run and catch it and clear it forward. Probably happens 3 times a game.

Jesus, reading through his thread has me as astonished at the comments as reading through the Syrian threads on the poliboard.

Relax. It could be worse......

We could be Mexico.

Jones did a few good things, his poor ones were more numerous and much more glaring. He´s like a lot on the squad, they see what needs to be done, but know they can´t do it, dump it backwards, slowly, and then gesticulate to the receiver what to do (who then promptly does the same).

I was looking down the Costa Rica lineup and they only had four players start the Gold Cup game against us and this one. I was under the impression that this would be basically the same team.

The meltdown wouldn't be nearly as bad if the 3 cards had never happened.

Win any of the next three and we are basically in. A win against Mexico on Tuesday would be a mathematical clinch.
