Who is this Steffan kid at goalie? He seems damn good to me. Also he signed in the Bundesliga so he has talent.

We are finally seeing the investment that was put into soccer in the nineties with this 1995-1998 soccer groups pay off.

He's such a weird one. We all know that we need to get away from college soccer as a pipeline for the USMNT, but then he has to go and skew things.

Times are changing.

Im glad that Im of the age to see some of these efforts in the late 80's and 90's bear fruit.

Something tells me Klinsman knew about all these players before he even became coach. He knew by fixing the youth system from the bottom up, teaching fundamentals and improving our tactics he would give USA soccer an identity. The sleeping giant is awakening

Usually we're the ones making such critical defending errors. I like it. Gotta be there to finish it, and Rubin did his job.

The US youth system had gems riding up the ranks when Klinsman signed on. He unquestionably knew this when he agreed to sign on to manage the USMNT.

It really is happening and I couldnt be happier. I was like 11-12 watching the '86 world cup in mexico on my uncles huge 15' satellite dish in all Spanish and wondering "where is the US team?" We have come such a long way since those days fellas, a long way.
