As a Dutchtard, I was excited when Afellay got bought by Barca, I thought they'd bring him along slow and he'd become a part of their rotation eventually.

Exactly. If the price is right Porto will let him go and try to find the next mourinho or villas-boas. With all the talk floating around and using exact contract numbers and announcing press conferences and what not I'm sure it will happen sooner rather than later.

Agreed, which is why they will let him go. If he doesn't get to the semi finals or further in the champions league next year his value will go down and he won't be as much of a hot commodity. One thing Porto is very good at is selling high to the clubs that will toss around money, then reinvesting in talent from smaller leagues around the world.

Sort of pissed Sanchez is going to Barca. He will get plenty of playing time but he wont be in the starting eleven. No way does he take Pedro's spot. Not this yr at least. Wish he could've gone to a Man City where he could have a chance to be the star of the show. Oh well ill be watching a ton of Barca games now.
