You’re spot on and 9 out of 10 times Porro will give it away and then we are immediately on our heels trying to defend.
Johnson is great at getting to the back post on crosses, but he can’t beat his man in a 1 vs 1 because his best attribute is top line speed. Odebert is the only winger that has shown any ability to make something out of nothing.

Meh I’m not sure I would put Son in that category at this point. He is still really dangerous when running full speed at a defender and is able to keep them off balance, but If he receives the ball to his feet he has struggled lately to get past his man. I’m not arguing Odobert is better than Son because he isn’t, but Odobert has shown the most ability to take his man on and create space.

Alkmaar defense is going to be dug in like a tick. Unless Spurs grab an early goal I wouldn’t expect too many fireworks.

Really sloppy so far. Front three not doing too much, although Tel had a really nice run but Johnson didn’t cover far post.

There’s nothing worth playing for in the league anymore, so I don’t mind the experimentation, but Bissouma-Gray-Udogie have been really bad.
