Okay I’m pretty ignorant about soccer but I do follow Spurs. Are they better without Kane? Why?

Has more to do with the contrasting style in coaching than not having Kane. (Spurs had a fantastic start to the year last season as well.)

Also, Spurs have admittedly had a very favorable schedule to start the season. Take a look at their run-in, it’s terrifying.

Ange said it best, they aren’t better without Kane, they are just different. Kane would undoubtedly be good in Ange’s system because he wouldn’t be the only one contributing. He wouldn’t be the sole source of goals like he was last year. Plus he’d be able to play higher because our midfield is so much better under Ange that he wouldn’t need to drop so deep to get the ball, he could concentrate on what strikers do, score goals.

Starting XI: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bissouma, Sarr, Maddison; Kulusevski, Son, Johnson.

Excited to see what Brennan Johnson can do starting off. And Udogie is back

CB needs to be a massive priority for the January window. God knows how long Mickey is going to be out for

Spurs have to start Dier for a minimum of three matches now. That's a very dire situation.

Wolves, Villa, and City are the next 3 matches as well. Yuck.

Yeah, this is a terrible game for Spurs. They’ll lose and have long term ramifications.

What a disaster. I didn’t get to watch after the 1st red. But it sounds like injuries are going to be bad. Romero has to be better, we completely let them in our heads.

Not even concerned with the performance. No injuries and less fricked up refs, Spurs beat this weak arse Chelsea team by 4.

VERY concerned about the injuries.

Stay in your own thread weirdo

It’s almost as weak as elaborate goal celebrations vs a 9 man team. Sad!
