Well this sucks. Hope Son’s injury isn’t serious enough to miss too much time.

Lo Celso, Romero, and Sanchez will miss Crystal Palace due to Covid protocol.

Son out with a strained calf, Skipp out with a groin injury, and Bergwijn now out with a possible ankle knock.

I think this is the 1st time I believe that I've ever been upset that Dier is coming off! Damn Lloris, got to be more aware than that.

Sorry I’m late baws

Really hoping Dier isn’t serious as he’s had a real renaissance this year. Expected a very tight game as we’re essentially playing with one hand behind our back w/o the South Americans.

I don't understand that. Romero and Lo Celso weren't playing PL games before this. There is no excuse for the setup and way we are playing. We are getting overrun by CP. Moura is a direct replacement for Bergwijn and Gil could have come on for Son. Instead we're starting 4 holding mids.

Winks, PEH, Skipp mid is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. If that’s what we are doing then might as well commit to a full park the bus.

Bryan and Ndombele are gonna have to start playing. It’s as simple as that. Otherwise this is just a repeat of the last 24 months.

I have to wonder what Winks has that has kept him at the club for so long! Must be something good on Levy.

TBH 1 point at Rennes wasn’t horrible given all we’re missing.

Nuno starting arguably our most talented 11 today. If we bomb at home with this group, it’s going to be hard to find reason for optimism for this season.

I’m not going to go all doom and gloom if we don’t get a result here, but I do expect us to make it a game at home. I would be happy with a positive performance and an opportunity to win the game. Dier and Romero need time to build a partnership in the center. Same with Tanguy, Hojbjerg & Dele. If we are going to be successful these are the players that need to start getting minutes together.

This is a great lineup. Just not much of anything on the bench. Love to see us setup with attacking players for once.

Would feel much better with Stevie and Lucas on the bench.

Yeah we just aren’t very good. Mid table team, and that’s if we don’t pile up injuries.

What a rough day

Kane needs to start being a leader and get this shite together.

Gonna try and keep a level head after that one. First 45 mins was really good soccer. Kante coming on a half completely changed the game. Credit to Tuchel. Not sure if it’s considered out managing when you can bring a player like Kante on to replace Mount, but Tuchel was decisive and that was the decision that changed the game.

A few positives…I thought Emerson played very well defensively. Romero and Dier partnership has potential. Ndombele did some really good stuff in the first half.

Now to the negatives…Kane is an absolute passenger right now. I’m not sure if it’s formation, attitude, health, or something else but he hasn’t had a good game since coming into the squad. He needs to step up. What worries me the most is not 2 losses in a row, but the way we are conceding once we give up the lead. You would expect Spurs to take it to Palace and Chelsea after conceding, but we did the exact opposite. No sense of urgency and both teams could have put more than 3 in the net. I’m seriously concerned for the lack of fight at the end of games.
