Eriksen had a beauty in to the top left corner that bounded off the post and it to the net. Perfect strike from just outside the box.

Mason doesn't seem like he has quite gotten back into the speed of the games yet. Lots of touches and good passes, but something just a little off.

ETA: maybe that was just cold legs at the beginning of the game he is playing much better as the game develops

ESPN - Kane to sign extension

Tottenham striker Harry Kane is set to put pen to paper on a new deal at the club, sources have told ESPN.

Kane, 21, only signed a five-year deal at White Hart Lane back in August, but his star has risen considerably this season and he is expected to agree a one-year extension to 2020 with a weekly wage of around £35,000 a week.

Sometimes we do a great job controlling the game and then we have like 20 minutes of sloppy, undisciplined football. We really need to clean that up.

Solid win. We got a little complacent at the mid-point of the game, but I'll take the win, the points and the clean sheet.

Yeah after our second goal things slowed down and West Brom had the better chances so that was a little disappointing. That's my only complaint though we kept a clean sheet and finished the game off it's a weird feeling not biting my nails in the 85th minute

In store for a tough month. I felt like WBA was a must win going forward then southampton losing. Looking at our schedule we have left a minimum of ten points off the board with loses to relegation battling teams.if those 5 loses could have at a minimum been draws wed be tied with Man City that is a little disheartening knowing how close we are to being very good .

We've also won by the skin of our teeth too many times to count. We aren't that close to being very good. Our goal differential is low for a reason.
