I'm obviously new to this but did we not have a need for a striker with some speed and who isn't perpetually injured? Instead we're getting rid of Sandro and Holtby and adding...another defensive midfielder?

I would have liked another striker, but I'm most worried about our lack of depth at winger.

Lamela and Chadli are the starters.

Townsend and Lennon are hardly the depth (or talent) we need...

Kane can go outside, but it isn't ideal.

Brad Friedel got his "A" coaching license. He was also left off of the Europa squad list so hopefully that means Vorm will be taking over the group stages.

May be a dumb question but searched here and the interwebs and couldn't find a answer... Why no EPL matches September 6/7?

I was looking forward to waking up early tomorrow and watching the Spur or at a minimum some soccer before college football kicks off.

Ah yes, that would be why I was able to watch the US vs Czech match the other day. Duh. Just didn't put 2+2 together there. Brain fart after disappointment of seeing no matches scheduled for tomorrow.
