I definitely want Willian, but we already have so much to be excited about. This team does not do THAT without Bale last year. No way. We don't even do that with Bale.

I'm saying that I agree. I'm also saying that if we add Lamela, we have more than enough talent in the midfield. I'm also saying it twice

The silver lining in losing Willian is that Dembele may still have a spot in the midfield. Obviously, they play completely different roles in the midfield, but there is some overlap between players. They actually tried Dembele at attacking mid today. Didn't work too well. I just love his strength and possession.

Looks like Willian is officially gone.
Yeah dembele isn't creative enough for that CAM spot. I really hope we get Lamela he is my first choice for our next signing.
Townsend looked great yesterday. I would like him to get a chance to start over Lennon. He really brings a scoring threat

You can take "scoring" out of that statement. Lennon can't do much of anything. He runs by guys and nothing comes from it.
I don't think I fully realized how much his play continually hurts us until I watched Townsend. Last year's tram struggled to score the ball because we were full of fast, technical players who couldn't make plays.

I've never really cared for Lennon. Yes, he's fast as hell but that's about it. His passes are poor. You know that he's taking the ball to the goal line and the "try" to cross back in to the box with little success.
