I know that Chadli is with the team. I really wish that AVB would try out his new toy. This feels like Christmas when my brat cousin plays with the shite toys his parents got him over the cool sports stuff I got him.

Update: Apparently Chadli was not put on the roster soon enough. He literally can't play. So he's just hanging out with the team.

Bale "frustrated" by Spurs

quote:

the Wales international has been left “distraught” by the club’s refusal to consider the offer, which exceeds the record £80 million fee the Spanish club paid Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.

I'll believe it when I hear the words coming straight from Bale. People have already debunked one Marca article showing how they just took a quote from Modric and then attributed it to Bale...word for word. I still find it hard to believe that ANY team would offer that much for ANYONE.

Today's stupid rumor:

We will sell Bale and use the funds to buy Luis Saurez. Saurez wants out of Liverpool because he is tired of the British press and wants champions league. We can offer the British press and no champions league. I just don't see why he would come.

SOLDADO!

If Bale stays, I think we could have a great season. Top 4 (or even higher) is looking more and more likely. Especially if Arsenal keep dicking around this transfer window.

Although I hate that we have to part with Bale there is no way in hell we could pass this offer up if true

Tottenham to sell Bale for 100 mil PLUS Alvaro Morata

Agreed, but that rumor is like a day old....so time for someone to make up another one.

Oh, and to the Soldado deal getting done.

Spurs are in a great spot. We either have tons of cash or Bale next season. Love this position, but I will miss Bale.

As an Arsenal fan, the fact that Spurs are beefing up and may potentially get massive funds for Bale, while we simultaneously do nothing but twiddle our thumbs, I have to say this situation is really annoying.

If you had told me in May that we would add Paulinho and Soldado while keeping Bale this summer, I would have given you a kiss on the lips. If we lose Bale, I will be excited to see who we add.

COYS!

So heres my way too early Starting XI as the roster currently stands (always subject to change)

GK: Lloris

DEF: Walker, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Assou-Ekotto

MID: Lennon, Sandro, Dembele, Paulinho

FW: Soldado, Bale(FW/MID)

Bench: Dempsey, Defoe, Dawson, Rose, Friedel, Siggurdson, Holtby, Naughton

Any changes or suggestions feel free to add

They'll probably get Suarez in the eleventh hour.

Which would make sense, given how much I already dislike him.

Hi everybody thought I show up in here to introduce to you a first time fan of soccer and I've decided to follow the spurs this year. Hopefully it will grow into a lifetime decision. Go Spurs !
