Nah he's 100% starting against Wolves. Don't have a huge issue with Pulisic on the bench today, like you said, I'd rather him save that energy for Wolves. Was always going to be hard to get points today if Liverpool decided to actually concentrate.

everyone yelling at Kepa for being a donkey.
ive been anti kepa for a long time, but im not heartless. that clip just makes me feel really sad for him. just no confidence and everyones on your arse about it, thats tough.

At least one person in this thread knows what’s up. Chelsea has given up more goals this season than any other season since Roman bought the team. Yeah, Brooks being better might be speculative, but it’s not that speculative to say that he would be an asset to your dumpster fire of a defense.

Probably not, but he’s an excellent defender, a threat on set pieces, and a hell of a passer (left-footed too) and I’m sure Roman would buy more than one defender anyway.

Ampadu and Tomori will come in and compete for a spot. Miazga is still on the books and I hope he at least gets to come in for a look before being sold/re-loaned. I mean, hes huge and also a pretty good passer. Reading fans have been high on him, despite his season being kinda rocky for various reasons. Add in a conservative new signing and bide your time until a target is available that will really transform your team.

I would really like to see Miazga succeed at Chelsea. If not, sell him to a mid table EPL team or a German team or something.

He's def done with the Loan Army. said hes married now and ready to find a team. Reading msg board seem to rate him as their top CB, but know they cant afford him. will be tough to sell him this year with all those mid sized teams taking such a financial hit from covid.
i could def see him making the roster this year as a stop gap rotation player, and from there anything is possible, but who knows.

It’s no skin off my back as a Tottenham fan. We needed you to lose that game so you’d have to get a result vs. wolves. As a Chelsea fan I’m not sure how you aren’t upset about mount being played in Pulisic’s position, especially considering his current form, and what he showed yet again when he was subbed on.
If anything I could be criticized for being too harsh on pulisic over the course of the season, but I’ve been really impressed with him since the restart.

because Mount was arguably our best player against United in the same system, which really shut down their attack. CP supposedly had a muscle/calf thing and was being rested. I assumed the plan all along was bring Pulisic off the bench if we needed a goal, and save him for Wolves. He's not a robot and has played a lot of mins since the restart. i understand sometimes players need to sit.
