plus theres no indication Chelsea wont make defensive moves after securing Havertz.
the bigger argument will come if we make a serious play for Rice instead of looking at more proven defenders.
and the idea of player like Brooks being an immediate upgrade over Rudiger and Zouma is highly speculative. Theres no doubt Havertz is more talented and has a higher upside than Barkely, Mount, or RLC (and im high on Mount/RLC)

Rice was great today. Can play CB or CDM and has a great long shot - something I don’t think anyone on the squad right now can say they have.

Outside of the finish...what a shite half today. Lamps obsession with Mount makes no sense to me. The media loves him, but I just don’t get it.
