Blues continue to take care of business against sides they should beat. It wasn’t pretty against Magpies but Blues had many opportunities and Pulisic was a key part of several close attempts. Lamp said we’ll see more Pulisic going forward and I’m happy to see that. And we still don’t have Kante, Loftis Cheek and Rudiger. This squad can be special.

Christensen is ok; Zouma makes me cringe. I still think we’re better without David Luiz but he would be a serviceable fourth defender. Rutiger will be the remedy for our defensive woes. But keep in mind we’ve had clean sheets 3 of the last 4. Kepa has stepped up lately- he was shaky for the first month regardless of defensive issues.

I agree. I was just hoping for top 6 at the beginning of the season. I feel like this squad gets better with every match.

Huge result today. I would have been happy with a draw.

After Pulisics performance today compared to Willian and Odoi, he has to be getting some starts soon right? It looks like he has been earning his way back into the starting 11.

Freaking A! This is huge. Beating a quality opponent in their house will do wonders for this team’s confidence. Lamp is getting these guys to play together sooner than I thought. Exciting times!

I definitely think he's earned the start Saturday against Burnley. CHO can probably use a rest anyway after going 90 today and 90 vs Newcastle on Saturday coming off the achilles injury.

I was excited for Lampard's return and to see some of the youth the season, but I did not expect the quality in form that they've shown over the last month. Let's hope they can sustain it throughout the season.

Should keep getting better as we continue to get players back from injury (hopefully). This team has been a joy to watch the last two months.

I have my blue-colored glasses on but I think the Blues can challenge City for second in the PL. I don’t think anyone is catching the Reds but once we get back our injured guys, we can make a run.

Don't know if we're ready for that but with Spurs and United floundering I think we have a great shot to finish top 4.

Plus arsenal gonna arsenal. I think our ceiling is 3rd. We don’t yet have the depth (health/ transfer ban) to compete with Liverpool and city over the entire season with CL etc. We’re trending in that direction though. Hopefully we can get this ban lifted for the January window.

I’m watching a replay of the Ajax game and I must say- those black uni’s are shite. Worst third kit we’ve had in a long time. Hell im not impressed with our all white away kits either. The all yellow’s were ??.

Last year's third kit would like a word.

But, I love 2 out of the 3 kits we have this year, only one I don't like is the home kit. The black one would be amazing if the collar wasn't weird, but even then it's still pretty
