Probably because we've never broken the £40mm mark on one player and that £100mm looks a lot less when you factor in what the actual net spend was... Dude, you guys have a lot of ££ and are willing to spend it to improve, be thankful... We're trying to get there and hopefully if we keep improving on the pitch and spending on better players, we will be there soon..

You guys still spend a frick ton on players. Even back in the 70s.

Liverpool have spent the 4th most in Premier League history.

Not bad for a player on the last year of his deal.

We're not even in the same neighborhood. It's city and united and then everyone else. You act offended when teams splash money around but United does it every season and you don't bat an eye

We aren't going to have as big a squad as the other teams, so we might as well sign versatile player. Ox is going to look a million times better with a competent coaching staff giving him instructions.

I hate to say this but I agree. What position does he play for y'all? Wing back? Defensive mid? Winger stop gap?

Agreed, but still be prepared for his "wtf?" moments in the final 3rd. He gave zero fricks in the match yesterday, too.

I didn't think it would happen. I'm kinda surprised, but I'm curios how it'll work out.

You shite talk our transfers and we will shite talk yours, all in good banter. I don't feel like we have done anything too outrageous spending wise lately outside of that sick Andy transfer.

I just hope he's good enough to take over for Moses since I guess my dream of Willian there is never going to happen.

Yea but ol boy can't handle the bantz, esp when backed up with facts. I don't give a shite if Liverpool spend. Only issue I and most people had was City completely fricking the transfer market up when they came in. But it did force everyone else to spend. United would spend big on one player once in a while during SAF years. Like Rio and Wazza.
