You paid similar for a guy who couldn't crack the team at Chelsea under multiple managers.
And yet Chelsea still wanted him back.
Got em!

Poch usually hates these kind of guys who act out like this.
I don't quite know if I'd say he's "acting out", certainly not like Lukaku who between him, his agent, and his dad, constantly made it known how much he wanted to leave.
Its been more of this weird "will he/won't he" kind of thing. He's just overvaluing himself to the point that he thinks he deserves as much as Lukaku and Kane, without having proved himself yet like those two.
While I'm hoping this makes him come to his senses and he signs a new, sensible contract at Everton, its hard to say I'd be disappointed if he left. With the signings Everton are making, I have no doubt we can replace his productivity if he leaves.

Noted center forward and not winger Cristiano Ronaldo
Played center forward 17 times this year, basically when Benzema wasn't playing CR7 was playing center forward

"Dumb stuff" being the manager, who has all the leverage wanted someone else

The Guardian is saying City are signing Danilo for 26.5 mil. They're going to spend 75 million on RBs in one week.
This is unreal
Him and Walker are basically the same type of RB

It's been pretty widely known that Lukaku was not Conte's guy. For once our board did the smart thing in not forcing a big money player on a manager. Not sure why that bothers you but I guess now that you can't say anything about other teams spending money and City aren't playing games in front of empty stadiums at the moment you've got to move on to something else.

swing and a miss
pretty funny seeing you defending all this when Chelsea bought a player you never heard of.

He couldn't start in La Liga, he's gotta be trash, right?

Lukaku lost his starting job to a 19 year old Divock Origi who was a year out from playing for Lille B on the World's biggest stage.

Cool. I'm sure Origi has been the better Premier League player, too.
ETA: And my last post was about how you badmouth La Liga, not that Morata isn't any good. But you gotta circle those wagons.

At their respective ages yes.

Origi at 20 and 21 in the Premier League: 12 goals in 50 appearances. (He just turned 22.)
Lukaku at 20 and 21 in the Premier League: 25 goals in 67 appearances. (And he's scored 43 league goals since then.)
Also, since 2014, Origi has made 10 appearances for Belgium with 0 goals. Lukaku has made 32 with 15 goals. Think Rom's rebounded from that setback.
