Oh well, let's hope we can make it back to CL in 2018.

fml, pathetic.

Wonderful day, the FA Cup is all we have left and we probably lost Hazard and Costa.

What a crap season.

How bad are the injuries to those two? Didn't get to watch the match.

I mean for Costa to go off playing well and at 1-1 in the second leg of the CL he better be pretty damn hurt.

Hazard prob just strained his vag.

There's pretty much no chance they play Saturday and if we lose that our season is completely over so might as well put em on ice for the rest of the season.

Kenedy is a fricking baller. The more playing time he gets the better for us.

I was thinking about making a post like this because the future is all we have to look forward to at this point.

As to your points...

1. I agree Terry needs another year to help smooth the transition of bringing in another manager and because he can still play. We can keep Mikel if we want but he needs to be back in the role of coming in to kill a game or for depth for cup matches. He is not a starting XI player on a team that is serious about winning titles.

2. I'd be fine with a switch to a 4-3-3 if we got the players to do it but I'd rather stick with what we have and get the central midfielders required to run it. We desperately need an elite CAM and a box to box player, we have neither right now.

3. Yes but if we did re-sign Terry we'd have 4 very good center backs. I'd really like us to sign an elite fullback if we aren't going to trust Baba. Kenedy playing back there is stupid.

4. I would be open to selling Hazard, Oscar, Matic, Mikel, and Fabregas.

5. Yes this. Strengthen the center of our team (mainly midfield). We need a legit holding mid, and legit CAM, and a box to box guy. It would cost a ton but if we sold the dead weight on the team we could come close to breaking even. I wish RLC would be given more opportunities to see what he could do for our midfield.

Assuming Zouma is healthy I'm not sure why CB is one of your top priorities if you also want Terry re-signed and Ivan moved to CB for good.

6. Hopefully with PL season pretty much over those guys will get a lot more opportunity to show what they can do and get some experience to be ready to help next season in a major way.

I don't know enough about all the talent in Europe to throw out a lot of names (I like the sound of the guys you threw out Pogba, Greiz, and Pjanic) but what I'd like to see is having guys like Essien, Makelele, and Lampard in the middle of the field bossing the game on both ends and giving everything they have every time they are on the pitch. Shouldn't be too difficult right? lol

Selling Lukaku was so dumb. Thanks, Jose.

Sane for DeBruyne.

I can't get on board with that.

Costa isn't the only guy on our team that cares or is working hard (Pedro, Willian, Azpi, Cahill) all for sure give everything they have every game. I mean this guy sat on his arse in the second half of a second leg CL semi.

Also acting like a jackass doesn't mean you are hardworking and competitive, when you take it to certain levels it just means you're an idiot and a moron and a liability.

I just want to see some action in the transfer window. We need to let go of some guys, we need fresh talent in multiple positions (especially in the middle and up top), and we need to let our youngsters play in the PL.

Where is a guy like Boga? Doesn't he destroy for the U21 side? We have sooooooooo much young talent and it is time for those guys to play.

RLC should play every match until the end of the season, IMO. I want him to have every opportunity to show his skills. If he isn't up to it, then it makes our transfer needs that much clearer.

Should give kenedy a run on either wing as well.

Between him, traore, and musonda there might be more answers out wide than we realize.

So....I am now a Musonda fan. Here are his touches from a single game and he created opportunity after opportunity.

Maybe Sporting Gijon isn't the best quality opponent but they aren't scrubs either.

LINK

What I like the most is the attacking mindset. The kid is always looking to drive at the defense no matter where he gets the ball on the pitch.

he stood out even in his first two games. what i saw in one game was he may be a bit selfish still and could work on his overall reading of the game, but this is all the usual critiques of youth players. theres also the incident from a few months back where supposedly he and Cesc got into it during training after Charley megged him. they loan him out just weeks later.

Good hopefully he'll play well and his transfer fee will go back up and we can cash in.
