Top 10 rivalries

This list is a bit old but I still found it to be interesting, think I would take out the Old Firm though for now. what would be the SB top 10?

I think River Plate and Boca is still up there pretty high. Maybe United and City move up higher since they are now both big spending clubs. I looked through all 50 and no Bayern and Dortmund and I think that rivalry belongs now with all the recent history.

Eh, I don't think United care enough. Although with their run of form, if City beat them twice this year and finish above that may change.

I kinda feel that the Manchester Derby seems like a bigger game than United and Livepool since Liverpool had been down in form.

Oh I get you, it definitely is a game with more on the line. I just know that every native (red) Manc I have ever spoken to has laughed when I ask them which rival is bigger, Liverpool or City. For them it isn't even close.

Guess that's what happens when in the past 50 years United and Pool was usually a game between the 2 best clubs in England and City was usually hanging out in lower divisions.

Yeah we beat them like a drum for decades so I don't think it'll ever matter how many times they beat us. It'll never get old for them. That revenge had been such a very long time coming, it'll never be satiated.

Manchester rivalries are over rated IMO because so many people are half-arse United fans. Other people on that list live and die (sometimes literally) for their teams. Manchester fans are spoiled and don't care quite as much as others on the list.

I loved Roy Keane. But that's because I was indoctrinated to religiously follow the Irish national team when I was younger. By all rights I should hate everything about him.

If Celtic and Rangers ever joined the Barclays Premier League, I would have a serious issue. I love me some Tottenham, but the only reason I don't follow Celtic closely is because I don't see the point of following the Scottish Premier League. It's a joke that nobody cares about.

I'm a casual fan for similar reasons. And for the same reasons, I'm just casual about it. If only the SPL wasn't such a POS.

True story. She was raised by her aunt and uncle. Her uncle was a huge political figure in Ireland. Michael Collins' best friend. Collins broke my great great uncle out of jail during the war. She has so many cool stories about her childhood because her uncle was so respected.
