Yeah I’d do it in a heartbeAt too. What’s funny is that I could see him excelling with a side like City under Pep and the style of soccer they play. I just don’t see him ever being anything more than a decent option for Mourinho.

I can't imagine that coming off the bench in the 80th minute of a 4-0 Europa League semi-final is what Eriksen had in mind when he said he was ready for a new challenge
Tough to see a guy who was brilliant for so long go out the way he did(last year with Spurs) and then watch things get even worse in Italy. I honestly think Levy shite the bed on this one. He wanted out 2 years before we moved him. Instead of selling at his peak like Liverpool with Coutinho and bringing in multiple players with the money, we let our squad stagnate and killed his value.

Yeah that sucks for him. Part of the problem was Eriksen was pretty professional the entire time even though he wanted a change. Coutinho was pretty much the exact opposite and forced a move (which worked out amazingly for Pool). I think that made it easier on Levy to not try to sell him because of how important he was to our team.
PhillyTiger I think it’s time for a new thread, transfer market is officially HOT we just signed Joe Hart as a 2nd/3rd string keeper
