Nice to see Lloris back! Good win today, the penalty was a bad call and Lloris almost saved it.

I thought lo celso was excellent today. Picked out quite a few creative chances. Always looks to play it forward, and on multiple occasions fought back to regain possession after turnovers.

I’ve also always been really negative on winks, but I thought he was playing really well before he went out early with an injury.

Didn’t really even notice the new guy Gedson after he came on.

Aurier gets a lot of hate, but he’s sent in some really nice balls during the season. Just not the greatest defender.

I’m so bummed that moura & son fricked up what should’ve been a clean break on goal in the last minute.

Ultimately happy to get the W, which you fricking better against the last place team at home.

I really enjoy watching Lo Celso, guy can ball. Only negative I can find about him so far is that he does go down a bit easy for my liking.

Lo Celso was pure class yesterday and has been for the last few weeks. He is the only midfielder that consistently looks to push things forward and looks to play passes that break the shape of the defense. Both goals came yesterday because of this.

When fully healthy I would love to see Lo Celso and Ndombele play a pivot with a DM sitting behind them. I think we would overwhelm and control the center of the field vs most teams.

I'm still not thrilled about the style of football that we seem to play under Mourinho, but I do think he deserves time to work with the squad on how we wants to play.

Also, Moura seems to have dropped off a bit recently, but I think it's largely due to him having to play as a number 9. He is much better as a wide player. If we don't bring in a number 9 in this window then I think there is 0 chance we finish top 4. Mourinho wants to play direct and that's not going to work with Moura trying to take hold the ball up and win aerial duels lol.

COYS!

I love what I'm seeing from Lo Celso he's really stepped up the past few weeks. I hope Ndombele figures out whatever this injury thing is having him back would be huge.

Yeah, signing a solid DM would be perfect. Dier just isn't good enough.

Moura is better as a sub. His energy is great against tired defenses but he's not really effective when he's gassed for the last 20 minutes too. We're kind of forced to start him though with all of these injuries and he's played well too.

Sounds like the Eriksen to Inter deal is done. What a player he was for Spurs! I wish his departure didn't drag on for so long(should have been done in the summer) because I think it overshadows how important he was for the club.

That being said, I'm glad this is over and everyone can move on. There is no doubt in my mind this has had a negative effect on the club especially during Poch's last couple of months.

I’ve grown so sick of his half-assed performances it’s going to take me some time to appreciate him again. His arrival at Inter will now make me pull for Juventus to win the league. That’s the sort of petty level I’m at right now.

Moving forward it would be nice if we could also get Danny Rose away from the club too.

Gonna miss him but it was time to go. I don’t think it was a lack of effort I think he just got burned out and lost form as well near the end.

Scored a lot of late winners and was always professional. Hopefully with this distraction gone the dudes can step up and finish the season strong.

I share this same sentiment. While he certainly could have played better this season, I also put some fault on Spurs for not selling him this summer when he wanted out.

I have a problem really faulting a guy that admits he's just burnt out and wants a new challenge. That can happen to anyone.

Agreed not to mention Levy could have generated more than $20 million for him if we sold him at the beginning of the summer.

Agree. This should have been handled last summer. It’s part of what has cost us this year imo. These guys have to live and breath their sport in order to perform at maximum capacity. Everything around them needs to be geared towards that. If they slack off in preparation to 95% then that is gonna show.

He didn’t want to be here and subconsciously that was showing.

Curious to see if we bring in another body or if we are just content to finish 7th in the table this year. I think we do have an outside chance to make a run at that 4th spot if we can get everyone back healthy for the final stretch and can bring in the right player to spark the team. Can be a winger, fullback, DM, or striker.

The Eriksen Era has ended. Thanks for the good times and hopefully his last season here won’t be remembered so much.

Eriksen has actually made the trip with the team to Southampton, which I found a bit weird. One last ride I guess.

I didn’t see him on the bench list so I guess he’s riding to support them one more time before Inter

Moura has got to find the net with that chance. Son looks really off so far.
